Apple IIGS PSU
Extend the life of your Apple IIGS' power supply unit (PSU) by adding afan to help keep the unit cool! TheApple IIGS’s PSU was meant to have a hanging fan, & the case already has tocutouts to accommodate a fan.
Our fans were designedby us, and the bracket and fan guard are printed in-house on our 3Dprinters. The fans we use are brushless, powerful & slim profile, andhave a maximum speed of 4000 rpm. The fans circulate up to 16.1 CFM at only 30DBA. [For reference: a purring kitten is 25 decibels and light rainfall is 50.]
We currently have twocolors in stock – a cool mint green and a hot pink. Wewill select a color at random; if you have a preference, we will try toaccommodate you as long as we have the color in stock, otherwise you willreceive the alternate color.
Please note: Just like everything else in your home or office, youneed to dust periodically,including the inside of your Apple II computer! It takes just a moment to popthe lid and blow out dust using a can of air, and it is the smart thing to do.If you're worried about blowing dust around inside your Apple IIGS, you need todo some needed housekeeping!
