All three components have been tested and are in working condition. These parts have been removed from a functioning HP Z640 workstation and have been cleaned and prepared for resale. Since removal, they have been stored in a smoke-free, pet-free environment. I am selling this because I no longer use it. This set includes everything needed to add a second CPU to the HP Z640 workstation: the 2nd CPU riser card (HP P/N 710326-001) that connects to the motherboard, the offset CPU heat sink with fan assembly (HP P/N 749596-001) designed for the motherboard processor socket position and required for the riser to be installed, and an Intel Xeon e5-2680 v4 processor (Intel P/N CM8066002031501). The Xeon e5-2680 v4 is a powerful 14-core, 28-thread processor based on the Broadwell architecture, featuring a 2.4 GHz base clock speed (up to 3.3 GHz turbo), 35 MB L3 cache, and 120W TDP. It uses the LGA 2011-3 socket and is compatible with the HP Z640 workstation's X99 chipset platform. This listing includes the HP Z640 2nd CPU riser card (HP P/N 710326-001), the offset CPU heat sink/fan assembly (HP P/N 749596-001), and the Intel Xeon e5-2680 v4 processor (Intel P/N CM8066002031501). These are the only items included—no original packaging, thermal paste, additional accessories, or RAM sticks are included.The CPU will be shipped already mounted in the CPU socket on the riser card. Thermal paste has not been applied and will need to be applied to the CPU before installation and use.
