TheSFS-1040-ER is a 10G Ethernet SFP+ (Small Form Pluggable) optical transceiver. The SFP module operates as 10GBase-ER standard, covering up to 40Km of single-mode fiber (9/125um). SFS-1040-ER can be used in any modern Ethernet switch equipped with 10G SFP+ slots. The module has been tested and found compatible with Cisco, ZyXEL, Netgear, Edge-Core, SMC and D-Link fiber switches.
