Listing is for an ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Extreme DDR5 Intel LGA 1700 Extended-ATX motherboard in Not Working/For Parts condition. Please carefully review all images for the physical condition of the board which is poor.

This board should be considered Non-Functional & Broken. Do not expect it to work. It is being sold "As is" and there are No Returns.

I'm not the original owner of this board but I've done a bit of testing on it and I'll share what I've experienced though please understand you may experience different or additional issues with the board since it is broken which makes its behavior unpredictable. I am only sharing this information to help someone that plans to buy this and attempt to repair it though it may be entirely unrepairable:

The board will boot up at times and I successfully flashed BIOS 1 and loaded Windows. However, this board consistently defaults to a 00 Q-Code state and will not boot beyond that. The 00 code seems to clear after some time has passed leading me to believe this is an overheating issue but I am not an expert.

In addition, BIOS 2 is entirely unavailable. The board won't boot/post when BIOS 2 is selected and produces an error message when trying to flash BIOS 2.

Lastly, the board has been taken apart before - at least the backplate has been removed because there were screws missing. I've since replaced them with some screws I had on hand for structural integrity.
