Apple MacBook Pro 15 inch, 2018 model A1990, with the Touch Bar and Touch ID. 6-core Intel Core i7 at 2.2GHz, 16GB of 2400MHz DDR4 memory and a 256GB SSD. Dual graphics with AMD Radeon Pro 555X and Intel UHD Graphics 630.

This is a real six core machine with 16GB, which is the configuration that still holds up for video editing, Lightroom, Xcode and heavy multitasking. The memory is soldered, so 16GB is what you get and what you need on this generation.

There is a small chip in the screen glass, the battery needs service, and no charger is included. All three are detailed below. Everything else is in good shape.

Screen Disclosure Small chip in the glass, top right corner

There is a small chip in the screen glass in the top right corner. It is in the corner, not in the viewing area, and it does not affect the display. No cracks, no lines, no spread. The panel itself shows a clean picture.

Battery Disclosure macOS reports Service Recommended Battery ConditionService Recommended Cycle Count422

macOS flags this battery as Service Recommended, which means it has degraded and should be replaced. Expect reduced runtime and plan on a battery replacement.

Verified Clean iCloud / Activation LockOFF Find My MacOff MDM / remote managementNot enrolled

This matters on a 2018 model. The A1990 has Apple's T2 security chip, which means a machine still tied to an Apple ID or enrolled in remote management cannot be set up by a new owner. This one is clear on both counts.
