Commodore Amiga 2000HD Video Toaster 2.0 A2620 68020 1084S-D1 Tested Working
Price: US $2700.00

Excellent vintage Amiga video production system with NewTek Video Toaster hardware/software and Commodore A2620 accelerator.

The system has been powered up and tested. It boots successfully from the internal hard drive into Amiga Workbench, recognizes the installed expansion hardware, and Video Toaster 2.0 launches and operates. Please see photos showing the actual machine running.

Known condition notes

  • System powers on, boots normally and has been extensively demonstrated operating.
  • Workbench, hard drive, mouse, RGB output, Deluxe Paint, F/A-18 Interceptor, Video Toaster 2.0 and TBC III software have all been successfully launched/used.
  • Video Toaster interface launches successfully; individual professional video inputs/outputs and all Toaster functions have not been comprehensively tested with external video equipment.
  • 1084S-D1 produces a good full-color RGB picture, but its power switch does not remain mechanically latched in the ON position. It is currently held in the ON position with a small piece of painter's tape.
  • 3.5" floppy drive is missing its front dust shutter/flap.
  • Unless you actually test a disk, I'd state that floppy read/write operation has not been separately tested.
  • Interior is exceptionally clean for its age with no obvious visible corrosion or battery leakage observed.

The hard drive contains a number of period programs/utilities, including Video Toaster software. These are included as found; no representation is made regarding software licensing or completeness.

    Monitor note:
The included Commodore 1084S-D1 produces a good image and is working, but its mechanical power button does not remain latched in the ON position. I currently have the button held in with a small piece of painter's tape and the monitor operates normally this way. This is clearly disclosed and shown in the photos.

The front dust shutter/flap on the 3.5" floppy drive appears to be missing. The drive is present, but I have not separately verified floppy read/write operation.

This is vintage computer equipment more than 30 years old. Testing has been limited to the functions described above. I have not exhaustively tested every port, expansion card, input/output or function. This is not an untested barn-find system. The computer has been powered on and demonstrated booting from its internal hard drive, operating in Workbench, recognizing its A2620 accelerator/expanded memory, and successfully launching Video Toaster 2.0. See photos of the actual system operating.

Cosmetic condition is shown in the photographs. Please examine all photos carefully as they form part of the description.

A fantastic survivor from the early desktop-video era and a particularly interesting configuration with the A2620 accelerator and NewTek Video Toaster.

SHIPPING: Due to the size, weight, and fragile nature of this vintage system, the complete package will be carefully packed and shipped in multiple separate boxes (likely 2–3 packages). The Amiga computer and CRT monitor will be packed separately for safer transport. Tracking will be provided for each package.
