REFERENCE LAPTOP DELL 5290 2-in-1-1

This is a fully-loaded DELL LATITUDE 5290 2-in-1 IntelCore i7 processor laptop that has “decommissioned” from my personalcollection (I test software for various companies) with Windows 11 Pro 26H2 (activatedwith digital license) machine ready for use as a great Internet browsing,e-mail, and general-purpose 2in1 laptop though it was primarily designed to bea business 2in1 laptop. The 5290 2in1 has a detachable travel keyboardthat allows it to be used as either a separate tablet or a regular laptop. **This one also has a **NEW** touchscreenas the original lost its “touch” ability because the digitizer board probablywent failed in the original screen.**As this is an"older" (circa 2019) model, but runs Windows 11 Pro 26H2flawlessly(it supports Windows 11 natively)and it’s verysnappy! This is your chance to get a low-cost but capable Windows 11 Prolaptop at a fraction of the cost of a newer expensive Windows11 laptop.**Note that unlike many 5290 2-in-1s for sale on E-bay, this one is from oneof my personal fleet and is not only in great overall condition, but includes16gb LPDDR3 memory and A LOT of storage + a MS Office Pro Plus 2021 (NOTcheaper Office 365) license + a 65W AC adapter. This laptop includesa NEW 512gb KingSpec NVMe PCIe M.2 storage drive and a 1tb SDXC storage cardfor a total of 1.5tb of storage!** Thislaptop DOES have a fingerprint reader and an NFC sensor.**Ihave also upgraded the combo wifi/Bluetooth card from BT 4.2 to 5.0 for newercompatibilities.** I have all Delldocumentation & manuals for this laptop downloaded on the desktop for thebuyer’s convenience! These Latitude 5290 2-in-1 laptops were ratherhigher-end for their time and were well over $1800 (Core i7/16gb config) withoutthe features I’ve added to this one. Ifyou need a very capable, lower-cost snappy extra/spare laptop for general usewith significant storage capabilities, this is a laptop for you! If you’re looking for a [more expensive]gaming laptop, this laptop is NOT for you!If you can find a better Latitude 5290 2-in-1 with everything I’veincluded for a better price than I offer, please buy it instead! ;) ***PLEASE take the time to read the detailsin this listing carefully as you can see I put a lot of time & effort intocreating very detailed listings for my potential buyer’s convenience*** **Please also see pics of system specs forthis laptop as well as the pic of all Device Manager drivers properlyinstalled**

This machine is very clean with minimal wear and surfacescratches and fully functional. The screen is in excellentcondition with nothing to deter the resolution. I take pride inrepurposing these older machines that still have plenty of life in them whennot pushed beyond their reasonable limits. I’ve also updated thislaptop to the latest BIOS version. It includes battery in very good toexcellent condition, a new CMOS battery if needed, and also a 65W AC poweradapter. **The speakerswere apparently blown out in this one so I replaced them with new ones as well.** This one has the optional IR camera thatsupports facial recognition. It does nothave the optional SIM slot. The 52902in1 is also compatible with Dell Active Pens PN556W & PN557W.

Known cosmetic defects: some minorscratches/scuffs on outer case, some normal wear on the keyboard and touchpad–However, there may be minor cosmetic differences that do not affectfunctionality in any way. **Unfortunately, the original owner musthave snapped off the internal USB-C Thunderbolt port connector (please see pic),but the other USB-C port (which is also used for charging when not being usedas a standard USB-C 3.1 port) is fine. Iam remedying this by including and 8-in-1 hub (please see pics) that can beused on either the USB-C 3.1 port or the other standard USB 3.1 port – that addsa lot of other usable ports! If usingmore than flash drives, it is always to be plugged in to power when using thehub.

This 5290 2-in-1 has built-in webcams (front, rear, IR)and microphone and a headphone jack.

I sell these machines as projects to repurpose them and onlymake a little profit to cover the replacement parts and time spent. Ifnot using a Bluetooth mouse (to save USB ports) I suggest buying a wireless USBmouse with a dongle for this laptop which works flawlessly with this laptop asa plug-n-play device. Please ask any and all questions BEFOREpurchasing and thanks for looking!

NOTE: Because this is an electronic device and ihave no control over how the buyer uses it after received, I CANNOT acceptreturns unless the machine arrives physically damaged as evidenced by shipperhandling. This laptop is otherwise guaranteed to work as described. These are not "buy and try" laptops as it would not be feasible forme to sell them otherwise. Thank you for your understanding!
