èI WILL ACCEPT RETURNS UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS: Five (5) day return IF DEFECTIVE and returned in same condition as received. I am not a retail jeweler, I am a small reseller who cannot afford to accept returns like a large retail chain. Therefore, I do not accept a return on items that do not meet your needs –fair warning, “ordered by mistake”, for example, is not a legitimate reason and will not be accepted, “the watch does not fit” is not an acceptable reason and requests for return will be denied -every listing clearly give the wrist size that particular watch will fit under the current configuration. Please, know your wrist size, if the watch does not fit, there are resellers on that sell individual links, so please make sure the watch or other item(s) you purchase meet your needs and expectations before you make the purchase. Please note: watches returned for any reason other than a misrepresentation in the listing are subject up to a 25% restocking fee. Grandpa Don has been in business since 2001and has periodically sold refurbished watches on since that time. I have more than 25 years experience working on Movado watches and still handle the beautification and refurbishing of the watch you purchase – although now a great grandfather I do leave the intricate work to three different expert Movado watch repairmen, one located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA., another in Greenfield, WI, and a third in Hilton Head, SC).

My primary mission has always been the satisfaction of my customers – many of which are repeat especially during the holiday season. I pride myself on honesty and integrity – when you purchase a Movado watch, or any other brand for that matter from GrandPa Don’s, you are guaranteed to receive a genuine brand watch and not a foreign knockoff. The condition number assigned to your new watch is, to the best of my ability, an indication of the present condition of the watch you will receive.

uses the term “refurbished”, I prefer “reconditioned”, may just be a matter of semantics to some but there is an important difference to me. What we do is take a used watch,and check the movement for any deficiencies or abnormalities, add a new battery to the watch, then rehab the exterior to remove as many scratches as we can without damaging the finish of the watch or in the case of a leather band, either rehab or replace the band with a genuine Movado band. Add new authentic Movado Presentation/Storage boxes and where necessary (such as with chronograph watches) include a Movado Owners Manual which details/describes how to use the chronograph functions. What you receive is as close to a new watch as possible at approximately 25% - 33% of the original retail price.
