Description

Three Toshiba MG08ADA800E 8TB enterprise SATA drives, sold together as one lot.

I'm a commercial photographer. These ran in my studio's 4-bay RAID (OWC ThunderBay 4, RAID 5, managed by SoftRAID) holding client work and archives. I replaced them with larger drives for capacity. They were not pulled for errors.

Drive 3 has fewer hours than the other two. A SMART screenshot for each drive is in the photos (created in SmartRAID), labeled to match.

I read SMART through a USB dock that shows the same generic serial (12345678913A) for every drive. The serial numbers in the table come from the physical labels, which are photographed. Each screenshot is labeled Toshiba 1, 2 or 3 to match the label photos.

Data

Each drive got a full zero-fill overwrite in SoftRAID, which writes every sector. I then formatted each as a blank exFAT volume. Reformat to whatever you need.
