Product Description

Overview

A capable entry-level gaming laptop with the MSI Thin GF63 12UCX-484US in Black — Intel Core i5-12450H (8-Core Hybrid), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 4GB GDDR6, 8GB DDR4, 512GB NVMe SSD, 15.6-inch FHD IPS 144Hz display, Wi-Fi 6, Gigabit Ethernet, red backlit keyboard, MSI Cooler Boost 5, Nahimic 3D audio, and Windows 11 Home. The MSI Thin GF63 delivers capable everyday gaming performance in a slim, sub-4.5 lb chassis — the i5-12450H's 12th Gen 8-core hybrid architecture brings meaningfully stronger multi-threaded performance over previous-gen quad-core laptops, the RTX 2050 with 4GB GDDR6 handles 1080p gaming in popular titles, and the 144Hz IPS display delivers smooth gameplay visuals at the refresh rate that matters for competitive gaming. MSI's Cooler Boost 5 dual-fan cooling sustains performance under load, and Wi-Fi 6 provides fast wireless gaming connectivity. Please note: the RTX 2050 is an entry-level NVIDIA RTX GPU — it is significantly weaker than the RTX 3050, RTX 4050, and higher tiers in demanding AAA titles. Ray tracing is technically supported but not recommended at full settings at this performance level. The keyboard features single-zone red backlighting — it is not per-key RGB. This laptop does not have Thunderbolt.

Key Features

• Intel Core i5-12450H — 8-Core Hybrid Gaming CPU: Intel's 12th Gen Alder Lake-H i5-12450H combines 4 Performance cores and 4 Efficiency cores (8 total / 12 threads) with Turbo Boost up to 4.4GHz — delivering stronger multi-threaded everyday gaming and multitasking performance than equivalent previous-gen quad-core processors, with the Efficiency cores managing background tasks to keep the Performance cores focused on gameplay.
• NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 4GB GDDR6 — Entry RTX Gaming GPU: The RTX 2050 with 4GB GDDR6 VRAM handles 1080p gaming across a wide range of popular titles at medium-to-high settings — including Valorant, CS2, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Minecraft, and many others — bringing NVIDIA's RTX platform including DLSS and hardware ray tracing cores to an entry-level price point, with DLSS helping extend performance in supported titles.
• 15.6-inch FHD IPS 144Hz — Smooth Gaming Display: A 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 × 1080) IPS panel at 144Hz with thin bezels delivers noticeably smoother gameplay than 60Hz displays — with faster screen refreshes reducing motion blur and improving perceived responsiveness in fast-paced competitive titles, alongside IPS-quality wide viewing angles.
• MSI Cooler Boost 5 + Wi-Fi 6 + Gigabit Ethernet — Optimised Gaming Platform: MSI's Cooler Boost 5 dual-fan cooling system sustains CPU and GPU clock speeds under extended gaming load — and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) alongside a dedicated RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet port covers both wireless and wired gaming network options for low-latency everyday online gaming.
• 512GB NVMe SSD + Upgradeable RAM — Fast Storage + Expansion Headroom: A 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD delivers fast everyday game load times and system responsiveness, and two DDR4 SO-DIMM slots support RAM expansion beyond the 8GB shipped configuration — with 16GB and 32GB upgrades available for improved multitasking and gaming performance headroom.
• Red Backlit Keyboard + Nahimic 3D Audio + Anti-Ghost: A red single-zone backlit keyboard with anti-ghost technology enables reliable multi-key input during intense gameplay without dropped keystrokes — alongside Nahimic 3D audio software for immersive in-game surround sound spatial awareness and enhanced audio for gaming and TypeMSI Thin GF63 12UCX-484US Gaming Laptop — BlackOS VersionWindows 11 HomeProcessor / CPUIntel Core i5-12450H (12th Gen Alder Lake-H, 8-Core: 4P+4E, 12-Thread, up to 4.4GHz Turbo, 12MB Cache)RAM Size + Type8GB DDR4 (2× SO-DIMM Slots — User-Upgradeable)Storage512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (M.2 Slot Available for Upgrade)GPUNVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 Laptop GPU (4GB GDDR6 — Dedicated / Entry RTX with Ray Tracing + DLSS)Screen / Display15.6" FHD IPS (1920 × 1080, 144Hz, Thin Bezel)Webcam720p HDKeyboardRed Single-Zone Backlit (Anti-Ghost) — Not Per-Key RGBCoolingMSI Cooler Boost 5 (Dual-Fan System)AudioNahimic 3D In-Game Surround Sound / 3.5mm Audio JackBattery51Wh 3-Cell (Best Performance When Plugged In for Gaming)Color / BuildBlackWeight~1.86 kg (~4.1 lbs)Hardware Upgradeability RatingUser-Upgradeable RAM (2× DDR4 SO-DIMM slots) / SSD Upgradeable (M.2 NVMe slot)Physical Ports & Expansion3× USB-A / 1× USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1) / HDMI / RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet / 3.5mm Audio — No ThunderboltConnectivity
