NEW - Icron USB EXTENDER RANGER 2312

The Icron Ranger 2312 is a 2-port USB 2.0 extender that enables USB extension up to 100 meters (330 feet) over standard CAT 5e (or better) cabling. Designed for a wide range of USB 2.0 and 1.1 device types, the Ranger 2312 offers reliable and high-performance USB extension for environments requiring multiple USB device connectivity at a distance.

Powered by Icron’s patented ExtremeUSB® technology, the Ranger 2312 delivers a true plug-and-play experience with no need for additional software drivers. It is compatible with all major operating systems including Windows®, macOS®, and Linux®, ensuring seamless integration into virtually any system setup.

The Ranger 2312 features two USB 2.0 ports at the remote end, supporting devices such as keyboards, mice, flash drives, audio peripherals, interactive whiteboards, webcams, and other USB 2.0/1.1 devices, all with full 480 Mbps throughput and no signal degradation over distance.

Key enhancements in the Ranger 2312 include improved electrical efficiency, updated internal design, and enhanced system stability, all packaged in a compact, robust form factor. The extender system supports flexible powering options: power can be supplied at either the Local Extender (LEX) or Remote Extender (REX), providing installation flexibility for various deployment scenarios.

Important Note: The Ranger 2312 supports flexible power delivery; however, this is not the same as Power over Ethernet (PoE). Power must be applied using the included 24V, 1A adapter, and only the REX unit should be connected to the remote end of the CAT 5e/6/7 link cable when power is applied at the LEX. Connecting the cable directly to non-Ranger devices while power is active may cause damage.
