The N-Tron 508TX is a 500 Series DIN-rail-mounted unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch designed for operation from redundant 10–30 Volt direct current (VDC) inputs. It connects as many as eight devices through 10/100BASE-TX Registered Jack 45 (RJ-45) copper ports and automatically negotiates speed, duplex mode, and automated medium-dependent interface crossover (MDIX) to forward network traffic. Its store-and-forward architecture operates without configuration and provides status indicators for each network connection. Manufacturer ordering information identifies the 508TX switch itself; the NTPS-24-1.3 power supply, 900-PM panel-mount kit, URMK rack-mount kit, and 500-UTA89 metal DIN-rail clip are separately ordered items.
