The Porn Detection Stick handles the analysis. Plug it into your Windows PC alongside the Photo Backup Stick storage drive and scan the backed up photos on the storage drive. Using 11 detection methods and thousands of analytical algorithms, it examines both image and video files for potentially illicit content. Results are automatically categorized into Low Suspect, Suspect, and Highly Suspect folders and stored directly on the stick for review. Video files include a detailed report showing file path, creation date, last access date, scanned frames, suspect frames, and MD5 hash.

The scan goes deeper than visible files. The Porn Detection Stick also searches deleted files, unallocated disk space, compressed archives, and Firefox browser cache, ensuring that removed or hidden content is included in the examination. Two scanning modes are available: User Interface mode for manual control over drives, folders, and search sensitivity, and Background mode which starts automatically when the stick is plugged in.
