Connector A is Standard SATA 22-Pin (7+15 Pin) Female (commonly found on 2.5" SSDs & Hard Drives).
Connector B is for Hybrid eSATAp connectors (Power over eSATA). They are fond on some laptops and are a hybrid USB and eSATA port. They combine USB 2.0 and eSATA in a single port. You can plug in either eSATAp cable or a standard USB 2.0 cable. Will NOT work with a standard eSATA port that does not supply power.
