DVD+R discs are blank, write-once recordable media used to save digital files permanently. Because they are "+R" (Recordable), data written to them cannot be erased or overwritten.

They are commonly used for:

Home Video & Movie Recording: Burning family videos, home movies, or TV shows to watch on standard home DVD players or computers with DVD drives.

Photo & File Backups: Archiving important personal files, documents, and digital photo albums off your computer or phone.

Audio & Music Storage: Storing MP3 audio files or creating custom digital audio mix discs.

Legacy Data Archiving: Keeping long-term physical backups of computer data that won't be affected by hard drive crashes or internet outages.
