This is a VLB card, not ISA - it needs a motherboard with a VESA Local Bus slot, which in practice means a 486 board.Fitted with 1 MB of video memory as two OKI M514260A DRAM chips, with two empty sockets on the board for expansion to the chipset's 2 MB maximum. Output is a single HD15 VGA connector. Among Trident's chipsets the 9400CXi is the compatibility pick rather than the speed pick, which makes it a sensible choice for a period-correct 486 running DOS and Windows 3.1.Untested. Sold as the bare card only, with no box, cables, driver disks or software. The two memory expansion sockets are empty as pictured and no expansion chips are included.
