USB Dual Port Fax Voice Modem Conexant Hardware Based Fax and Voice Modem

This hardware USB fax modem includes TAPI voice and type 1 Caller ID support. It is compatible with many Microsoft Windows TAPI based applications that use Caller ID, Fax, Data, and Voice recording/playback. The modem includes a 4th Generation CX93010 controller-based fax modem chipset from Conexant® that integrates a micro-controller (MPU), digital signal processor (DSP), memory and a SmartDAA® (DAA) interface onto a single board. The modem easily plugs into a free USB port on your computer. The automatic plug and play driver included with Microsoft Windows 11, 10, 8.x and 7 SP1 (support for both 64 bit and 32 bit) allows for quick and easy installation.

Unlike other vendors, we also include a digitally signed Windows 11/10/8/7 (SP1) modem driver for voice playback and recording support for Windows TAPI applications that do not use passthrough mode.

This modem is also a hardware-based modem replacement for the discontinued US Robotics 5637 ( USR5637 ) USB modem. If your application developer recommends this modem, this is a compatible replacement.

We also include trial downloads of FaxTalk and free VZEnhanced 56K Caller ID software (via download links).

Will it work with my Apple computer or my virtual machine?

All the software and hardware we sell is designed for Microsoft Windows. Due to hardware compatibility issues, we don't recommend or support usage with any Windows emulator software designed for the Mac or virtual machines.

Will you provide technical support if I need any help?

Yes, unlike other vendors we actually specialize in fax modems and fax modem software. Technical support is included at no additional charge for 180 days from your purchase date. You also have access to our on-line knowledge base. We do also offer optional remote support services after this period for an additional fee.

Do you ship outside the United States or Canada?

Yes, we currently ship to many areas around the world. Note that we only provide support in English language. Due to some of our distribution agreements from third party developers, some products may not be available for sale in all countries. Please contact us for more information.
