Vintage Lot of 10 IZOT 8-Inch Floppy Disks – Soviet-Era, Made in Bulgaria – With Custom Metal Case
A rare find from the Cold War era!
This is a lot of 10 vintage 8-inch floppy disks manufactured by IZOT (Bulgaria) during the Soviet period. These disks were recovered from the remains of an abandoned Soviet scientific facility. They appear used and contain unknown data – potentially old programs, research, or documents from a bygone technological era. Unfortunately, I don't have the means to read or test them.
The lot comes with a custom metal storage case, adding to its historical and collectible value.
Whether you're a vintage computing enthusiast, collector of Cold War memorabilia, or simply looking for a unique display piece, this set is a fascinating glimpse into the early days of Eastern Bloc computing.
