The case also features a dedicated top slot holding a black USB cable used for transferring data to a computer. Comes with a ‘memory stick’ ( not sure of its memory capacity, but cleared about 20 scans of book pages before listing).
Requires two AA batteries to operate (not included with this listing).
Exterior of carry case has some wear, but case zipper works well and protects scanner & USB cable very well.

Because it is a basic USB handheld scanner without any built-in wireless transmitters (such as Wi-Fi or Bluetooth), it falls under the FCC category forunintentional radiators. Devices like this undergo standard FCC verification or a Declaration of Conformity to ensure they comply with interference standards—which is why one might see the standardFCC logoprinted on the label—but they are not issued a specific FCC ID registration number.
