There is no carrying case. The computerworks as it should, however, I do not have a PC card to test the PC card slot.All keyboard and shortcut buttons work, touch screen works, and includes thestylus. Speaker and microphone work. The backup button battery was replaced.The main battery holds a charge and does run without being plugged in. I do notknow how long it lasts per charge while unplugged. Adjusting power settingscould potentially maximize battery use, however I’m sure the battery is prettyworn out at this age. The case shows some scratches and the display has somebubbling or something in the middle. This causes an area appears to be brighterthan the rest. See the pictures in Word and audio recording screen. Thosepictures are the easiest to see the screen issue. The one picture shows theissue with a drawn on rough outline. This visualdefect does not affect the touch screen but it is noticeable during use. Someusers may find this to be distracting. The owner manual can be downloaded orprinted from the HP website.
