This is a used Western Digital WD Purple 4TB 3.5-inch surveillance hard drive, model WD40PURX, removed from a working enterprise surveillance system. Designed for compatible CCTV DVR and NVR recording applications, the drive features WD AllFrame technology, CMR recording, SATA 6Gb/s connectivity and 64MB cache.

DVR and NVR compatibility depends on the equipment manufacturer, supported drive models, firmware, SATA controller and maximum supported storage capacity. Although WD Purple drives are designed primarily for surveillance recording, they may also be used in compatible desktop computers and other suitable SATA storage systems. NAS and RAID compatibility should be checked against the system manufacturer's supported drive list. This is not a SAS drive, 2.5-inch laptop HDD, M.2 SSD or NVMe storage device. SMART Health Testing: Each supplied drive is individually checked using CrystalDiskInfo before dispatch and must report GOOD SMART health, with zero reallocated, pending or uncorrectable sectors at the time of testing. SMART testing provides diagnostic information about drive health but does not constitute a complete surface scan or guarantee the absence of future drive faults. Serial numbers, power-on hours, power-on counts, firmware versions, manufacture dates and minor label details may vary between units. Product photographs are representative of available stock.
