⚠️ KNOWN ISSUES & CONDITION NOTES (PLEASE READ)

This is a 25+ year old piece of vintage electronics. While it boots and performs well, it has the following mechanical and cosmetic flaws:

1. Battery Issue (Boot Requirement): The original battery is completely dead, holds zero charge, and causes a boot conflict due to an internal short if left inside the machine. Battery will need to be removed from laptop for it to boot into Windows.

2. Onboard Audio: The internal sound is currently non-functional. Because this bundle includes the original Restore CD with native factory drivers, it may simply be a matter of reinstalling the correct audio drivers from the disc. If it is a hardware issue, it can easily be bypassed using a vintage PCMCIA sound card or a cheap compatible USB audio adapter.

3. Cosmetics: The laptop is in good overall cosmetic shape for its age, but there is a small, typical hairline stress crack in the plastic molding near the left display hinge (see photos in listing). This does not affect the opening or closing mechanism of the screen.
