ASRock TRX40 TAICHI sTRX4 AMD Motherboard "CIB" (Sold As Is Untested)
Price: US $749.99
The motherboard is used in like-new condition. The BIOS was successfully reflashed to the latest version during troubleshooting after my CPU stopped posting with A5, so it's not BIOS corruption or a bricked board. I no longer have the means to show a post screen, but it worked perfectly fine before my CPU failed to post. *I confirmed this by moving my CPU to another TRX40 board, & it still wouldn't post with my CPU*Fact 1: After removing it from my rig to sale, I discovered that the upper heatsink has some film that expanded from underneath. I couldn't get it to show up in photos, so I just took a cleaner photo of the board. Nothing is broken, & I carefully removed all of the thermal paste from the socket mount, since it's such a huge socket, well that thermal paste goes freaking everywhere... The film might just be from the thermal pads underneath the heatsink. I never had liquid leaks of any kind during the build's lifetime, so you can rule liquid damage out entirely
Fact 2: The socket coding or text has worn off due to routine maintenance to clean my loop & reapply thermal paste from the Arctic cleaner that I no longer used, which had rubbed off the FOXCONN instructions. To remove should be 3, 2, 1, which is the reverse of installing the CPU. It's still lightly visible, but hard to see in photosFact 3: The photos are of the actual unit along with all of the original OEM accessories & box, so what you see, is what you get. *The box ripped unfortunately when I unboxed it again to take some more photos, as it had snagged some tape from the box, but I patched it up the best I could, sorry*Fact 4: The unit was bought directly from the New Egg store via New Egg direct, & the unit was well maintained & cared for, plus all of the accessories were always stored in ESD bags for protection & unused, well besides a single screw & standoff. They will ship in ESD bags, & the board will ship with the OEM socket cover installed, as that's exactly how I received the originally sealed motherboard direct from New Egg. The original foam is included, tooFact 5:The unit had some minor overclocking, mainly factory defaults from what I can remember in the AMD software, & the motherboard was powered by a Seasonic Prime plugged into an APC unit for its entire lifeFact 6: The CPU was installed once & then removed once. I installed the OEM socket cover & seated it twice after removing the CPU, so it wouldn't get loose or fling open during shipping. That is also how I received it factory new, so in total the socket mount has been seated 4 times.*I documented no bent pens on the socket for the listing before boxing it up again, so please see photos*
Will ship via USPS Ground*The board will be wrapped in an ESD bag, & the box will be double-walled with plenty of packing material to prevent damage from shipping*
A return is accepted for this motherboard, but the buyer must pay return shipping *Soldas is untested*
Full insurance & signature included for shippingNote 1: Since this unit is being sold secondhand by me as the original owner, well I can guarantee the manufacturer's warranty is long expired, so any support is completely voided once it leaves my handsNote 2: *The serial number has been documented & marked. It has not been defaced*Note 3:A dispute will be issued with documentation I recorded before shipping out to the buyer, if the board & OEM packaging is not received in the same exact condition that I sent it in after a return. I'm fully aware of "INAD" loopholes & return fraud swap attempts, please take this into consideration before buying from my store
