Pulled this working 2008 motherboard from a PC I got out of a university salvage cart. It posts but I’m not gonna buy the ram to fully use or test it. Gonna throw in an ATX power supply that should be strong enough to drive it, as well as the Io shield. I have not taken the CPU out to inspect the socket. I assume that everything is fine on account of it posting.I’d be happy to take more pictures if needed.The board is micro ATX, has six sata ports, and an IDE port, so it could get by as a NAS, or live a happy life on Windows Vista. This machine could be the beating heart of a data recovery project for older drives. It also has a dedicated floppy header if you have any of those lying around that you’d like to archive.
