This is the800K drive intended for compatible later compact Macintosh systems, including the Macintosh Plus and Macintosh 512Ke. It can also be used with appropriately upgraded earlier Macintosh systems that have 800K-compatible ROMs.
Important compatibility note:A stock Macintosh 128K or 512K with the original ROMs doesnotsupport 800K disks. Please verify compatibility with your Macintosh before purchasing.
