Offered for sale is an original Apple Macintosh SE/30, one of the most sought-after models in Apple’s classic compact Macintosh lineup.

This computer has been carefully cleaned, inspected, and tested. It is in very good cosmetic condition for its age, with relatively even case coloring, an intact original rainbow Apple logo, and only minor signs of normal use.

The computer boots successfully into System 7.5.5 using an installed BlueSCSI solid-state storage solution. Its internal 1.44MB SuperDrive has been disassembled, cleaned, and serviced and is functioning properly, including reading and writing floppy disks.

The computer has been tested running Macintosh applications, including Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Important: Capacitor and Audio Disclosure

The logic board has NOT been recapped.

The computer retains its existing capacitors. As with other Macintosh SE/30 computers of this age, replacement of the original electrolytic capacitors is recommended as preventative maintenance to help preserve long-term reliability.

Audio output is very faint, including the startup chime.

The internal speaker has been replaced with a known-working speaker, but the audio issue persists. Aging capacitors or other components in the audio circuitry may be responsible. The exact cause has not been determined.

The computer otherwise boots, operates, runs applications, and reads and writes floppy disks as described.

These conditions are disclosed for complete transparency. Buyers should anticipate that future capacitor replacement or additional electronic servicing may be necessary.

The computer is configured with System 7.5.5 and boots successfully from the installed BlueSCSI.
