Cisco identifies the EHWIC-VA-DSL-M as using a Broadcom 6368 chipset and supporting both PTM and ATM framing modes.
For VDSL2 applications, the module supports profiles including 8a, 8b, 8c, 8d, 12a, 12b and 17a, with downstream speeds of up to 100 Mbps and upstream speeds of up to 50 Mbps, depending on the DSL service, line conditions, DSLAM, and configuration. Annex M support provides extended upstream bandwidth for compatible ADSL2/2+ deployments.
