For Sale: Cisco WS-F6700-DFC3B Distributed Forwarding Card (DFC3B) Increase the performance and efficiency of your Cisco Catalyst 6500 or 6700 switch with the Cisco WS-F6700-DFC3B Distributed Forwarding Card. This module was specifically developed to offload the forwarding decisions directly to the line cards (Distributed Cisco Express Forwarding, dCEF) and thus relieve the central supervisor, resulting in a significant increase in performance. Key features and benefits

• Massive increase in performance: Increase aggregated system performance up to impressive 400 million packets per second (Mpps), ensuring dramatic reduction in latency and higher throughput.
• Expanded routing capacity: Supports up to 256,000 IPv4 routes in hardware and offers sufficient capacity for extensive network infrastructures.
• Comprehensive protocol support: Provides support for essential network protocols such as Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) and Access Control Entries (ACE) Counters on Cisco 6700 Series Line Cards.
• High reliability: The module is designed for reliability in mission-critical environments and contributes to high network availability, especially in redundant configurations.
• Seamless integration: Compatible with CEF720 based line cards WS-X67xx series (e.g. WS-X6704-10GE, WS-X6748-GE-TX) and the Supervisor Engine 720 (SUP720) modules in Cisco Catalyst 6500 E-Series cases.
