Applications
VAX expansion cabinets were used to add memory, processing, and I/O capacity to DEC VAX minicomputer installations in enterprise and laboratory environments. Condition: Used
Digital Equipment Corporation B400X VAX Expander (model B400X-B9-B03) in sound physical condition. This vintage minicomputer expansion system is untested due to lack of in-house technical capability, though the unit is physically intact with no visible major structural damage. The cabinet, door, backplane, and all installed boards remain present and complete. The exterior displays normal age-related wear consistent with a 30-year-old system—entirely typical and expected for equipment of this vintage. The complete installed board complement has been verified: M9405-PA, multiple M3119-YA CXY08 and CXY08-M modules, and M9060-YA. Please consult the full photo set for detailed cosmetic assessment.
