This is a factory-sealed Discovery Channel School Life Science Simulations Version 1.0 classroom lab pack from 2004, intended for students in grades 6–12.
This package contains five identical copies of the same Life Science Simulations CD-ROM program. It is not a five-disc program in which each disc contains different material. The five matching copies were packaged together as a classroom lab pack so the same program could be used on multiple compatible computers or workstations.
Condition
Brand New / Factory Sealed with Shelf and Storage Wear
The original outer plastic seal remains intact, and the five individual CD-ROM jewel cases have not been removed or opened.
The outer wrapping shows shelf and storage wear, including areas of rippling or tension, scratches, small tears, and other minor imperfections. A small lifted flap is present in the plastic near the center of the front. The wrapping also has factory ventilation openings along portions of the upper rear edge, so a small amount of dust may be present beneath the plastic.
The top/front jewel case has a long, thin horizontal crack near the middle, as well as a smaller crack near the upper-right edge.
A shifting sound can be heard from inside one of the cases. Because the package remains sealed, I cannot determine whether the sound is caused by a booklet or insert moving inside the case or whether a disc has become dislodged from its spindle.
Because the cases remain sealed inside the original packaging, I do not know the physical condition of the CDs inside. The discs have not been inspected, handled, installed, or tested, and there is no guarantee that they are still secured to their spindles or free from scratches or other damage.
Small, regularly spaced ripple marks appear on portions of the wrapping and appear consistent with manufacturing or packaging marks. Normal storage wear may include minor scuffs, light scratches, small indents, or light scrapes.
Please review all photographs carefully for the exact condition of the wrapping, jewel cases, and sealed package.
