The Epson GT-X900 is the flagship A4 flatbed scanner Epson built around a Dual Lens System: one 4800 dpi lens for reflective originals and a separate 6400 dpi lens for film. Film is why this model is still sought out. The transparency unit is built into the lid rather than bolted on, and the design covers 35 mm strips and mounted slides, 120 medium format and 4x5 sheet film, so negatives and transparencies can be digitised at a resolution that holds up when enlarged.Key Features:• 6400 dpi optical resolution for film, with a 4800 dpi lens for reflective originals and 9600 dpi in the sub-scan direction.
• Film up to 4x5 - 35 mm strips and mounts, 120 medium format and 4x5 sheet film, using the transparency unit built into the lid.
• A4 and US Letter originals - 216 x 297 mm maximum effective scanning area.
• Two interfaces - USB 2.0 Hi-Speed and IEEE 1394 (FireWire, 6-pin).
