Model notes
The FortiGate 100E is a 1U rackmount appliance offering substantially higher throughput and port density than the desktop 60-series units. It does not include internal SSD storage — this is the factory hardware specification for this model, not a missing or failed component. Logging to an external FortiAnalyzer or syslog server is supported.

- FortiGuard/FortiCare support contract expired June 26, 2023. Security signature databases are current as of that period but cannot be updated without an active subscription.
- FortiOS 6.2.15 is the final firmware branch supported on this hardware. No further firmware upgrades are available from Fortinet for this model.
- The FortiGate 100E has reached Fortinet End-of-Support. No new support contracts are available for this model.
- Registration transfer is not guaranteed. Buyer is responsible for any FortiCare registration matters if desired. Given end-of-support status, no support entitlement is purchasable regardless.
- Sold as a lab, training, or general-purpose firewall appliance. Not suitable for environments requiring current threat signatures.
