Up for sale is a rare, vintage 1990s Fujitsu Stylistic 500 Expansion Keyboard (Model FMWKB1A). This high-quality piece of retro-computing history was manufactured domestically in Japan and was originally designed for the Fujitsu Stylistic 500, Stylistic LT, and Stylistic LT C-500 series pen tablets.
This keyboard is coming out of our personal collection as we need to downsize due to lack of space.
⚠️ CRITICAL COMPATIBILITY NOTE FOR BUYERS:
This keyboard features a built-in cable with a proprietary, multi-pin connector engineered specifically for vintage Fujitsu tablet hardware. It uses internal AT/PS2 signaling protocols but cannot be plugged directly into modern USB ports or standard round 6-pin desktop PS/2 ports without a custom-wired adapter or pinout modification.
Condition Details:
Testing: Sold strictly UNTESTED because I do not possess the matching vintage Fujitsu tablet or docking hardware to power it on.
Physical Condition:
The keyboard is in great vintage cosmetic shape. The cord is fully intact with no splitting, and the metal connector tip is clean with straight, undamaged pins. Missing one foot stand but most people use it without.
Key Mechanism:
All 83 physical keys have been individually hand-tested for tactility. Every key depresses smoothly, clicks properly, and snaps back up instantly with no stickiness. This is a fantastic find for vintage tech enthusiasts, hardware archivers, or collectors looking to complete an authentic, functioning late-90s portable setup.
Please examine photos before purchase. It has now been placed in a polybag and stored awaiting shipment!
