Overview
The GLOTRENDS PA41 turns a single PCIe 4.0 x16 slot into a home for four M.2 NVMe SSDs, so you can build serious high-speed storage without giving up a drive bay or adding a bulky RAID enclosure. When your CPU, motherboard and SSDs all run PCIe 4.0, each drive can reach up to 64Gbps, for a combined ceiling of 256Gbps across the card.
The adapter accepts 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 length drives, which means short boot SSDs and long enterprise modules both fit. Because the card carries no onboard switch chip, it relies on your motherboard's PCIe bifurcation support: set X4X4X4X4 or Hyper M.2 X16 mode in BIOS or UEFI and all four slots come alive. Please confirm this setting in your board manual before ordering.
No extra driver is required on Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8, Linux or macOS, and both full-height and low-profile brackets ship in the box so the card fits tower cases and slim chassis alike.

Highlights
- ✓ Fit four NVMe SSDs into one x16 slot and keep your case clean and cable free
- ✓ Build a fast or redundant software RAID array in Windows or Linux with OS tools, no hardware RAID controller to buy
- ✓ Boot straight from the drives on the card after reinstalling your OS and setting the boot order in BIOS or UEFI
- ✓ Works out of the box with no driver installation on modern Windows, Linux and macOS systems
- ✓ Flexible mounting for 2230 through 22110 drives covers boot SSDs and high-capacity modules
Usage
This card suits desktop builders, workstation owners and home server enthusiasts who want to pool several NVMe drives behind one slot. Typical setups include a fast scratch or project drive alongside mirrored storage, or a compact server build where every bay is already occupied.
Intel VROC configurations require a separate license. A few older motherboards only allow the drives to run in data-disk mode rather than as a boot device, so check your board documentation or contact us before ordering.
In the Box
- GLOTRENDS PA41 quad M.2 NVMe to PCIe 4.0 x16 adapter card
- Full-height bracket
- Low-profile bracket
Please Note
- M.2 NVMe SSDs are not included with this adapter card.
- This card has no onboard switch chip and requires PCIe x16 bifurcation support (X4X4X4X4 or Hyper M.2 X16 mode) set in BIOS or UEFI. Without it only the first M.2 slot works, and X8X4X4 mode exposes only three of the four drives.
- Not compatible with Mac Pro systems, and Windows 7 is not supported.
