Works great, includes required Kano charger and keyboard. Keyboard missing one key cover, key still works.By design this product will ONLY charge with a red Kano PC charger (included) it will not charge with any other charger. If the red charger gets lost you will have to procure another working Kano charger. The USB-C input is only for the charger, it is not a data port - charging only via the required Kano charger which is included.
Kano is no longer in business. This is still a fun product with a bit of a cult following. We use one for playing retro/emulated video games, with its novel look it is fun. It also gets used a bit for books & magazines on Libby via the Libby web portal & the kindle Windows app.It is not fast for typical daily use, but it can certainly be used for Spotify, YouTube and browsing the web with 2 or 3 tabs going at once.
This can be used by children however the product is best managed by adults with above average computer & Windows11 experience who can help with updates and installing any software and ensuring expectations for the device are managed well.
I have not tested any renditions of Linux on this device and can not say if they support all the custom hardware with drivers. If they do I bet it would be much faster however approach that willing to find out.
