MSI N3150I ECO-S01 Mini-ITX Motherboard + 8GB DDR3 RAM
Pulled from a Barracuda Backup appliance • Intel Celeron N3150 Quad-Core • HDMI + VGA
This is an MSI N3150I ECO-S01 Mini-ITX board with onboard Intel Celeron N3150, 8GB DDR3 installed, pulled from an older Barracuda Backup appliance. It still has the Barracuda-customized BIOS, Barracuda splash screen on boot, and the Barracuda BIOS password lock that these units shipped with.
What’s included
MSI N3150I ECO-S01 Mini-ITX motherboard (onboard Intel Celeron N3150)
8GB DDR3 RAM installed (board maximum)
Barracuda appliance BIOS / splash (not a clean retail MSI BIOS)
I/O shield if pictured / included
(Add case, PSU, and storage separately. Match extras to your photos.)
Barracuda BIOS / password
This board came out of a Barracuda Backup unit, so setup is password-protected with Barracuda’s OEM BIOS password.
Common Barracuda appliance BIOS password (try first):
bcndk1
(all lowercase)
Other passwords reported on Barracuda hardware over the years: BCNDK1, 322232, 32232, ADMINBN99.
On many Barracuda-pulled boards the password comes back after a reboot even if you clear it in setup or flash a stock MSI BIOS — that’s normal for these appliances. CMOS clear may or may not stick; treat it as a Barracuda-locked board, not a blank retail board.
