Vintage Micropolis S-100 floppy disk controller card for early S-100 bus microcomputer systems such as Altair 8800, IMSAI 8080, and other Intel 8080 / Z80 based machines.
This controller board was designed to interface Micropolis 5.25-inch floppy disk drives with S-100 bus computers. These early controllers were used in late-1970s microcomputer disk subsystems and supported hard-sectored floppy disks, which were common before soft-sector controllers became standard
