The ModusTech Vault Alloy is a desktop external hard drive built for people whose work depends on their data. Aluminium enclosure, mains-powered stability, USB-C connection, and capacities from 2TB to 20TB. Backed by a 2-year manufacturer warranty because we build these drives to run for years, not months.

Key features

• Capacities from 2TB to 20TB — sized for archives, backups, video libraries, RAW photo catalogues, and workstation storage that keeps growing
• Aluminium enclosure — vented for passive cooling, engineered to keep the drive running cool under sustained read/write loads
• USB Type-C connection with USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) interface — real-world transfer speeds up to 200 MB/s depending on capacity and file size
• Mains-powered via included AC adapter — reliable, consistent power delivery for large sustained transfers. No bus-power throttling, no unexpected disconnects mid-backup
• Plug-and-play across Windows, macOS, and Linux — no drivers, no software, no setup. Works with PC, Mac, laptop, desktop, and workstation setups
• 2-year manufacturer warranty with UK-based customer support
