I’m selling this complete group of 10 vintage NeuralWare technical manuals for NeuralWorks Professional II/PLUS and NeuralWorks Explorer. These date to 1991 and come from the early commercial era of artificial neural-network software, well before today’s widespread use of AI and machine learning.

The collection includes three Reference Guide manuals, three Using NWorks manuals, three Neural Computing manuals, and one System Guide for PC Versions. That means the three principal titles are each represented by multiple copies, along with the PC system documentation.

Using NWorks is the extended tutorial for NeuralWorks Professional II/PLUS and NeuralWorks Explorer. The Reference Guide covers NeuralWorks commands, tools, architectures, learning and control strategies, standard and user-defined input/output, advanced topics and macros. Neural Computing covers neural-computing fundamentals, selecting neural-network paradigms and related technical material. The System Guide covers the PC versions.

Two of the manuals have moderate highlighting to portions of the text. Because the principal manuals are represented by multiple copies, the collection includes a clean, unhighlighted copy of each title. The remaining interior pages are clean.

Several manuals have Gerald B. Sheblé’s name handwritten inside, including copies bearing his full name. These came from the personal library of Gerald B. Sheblé, whose professional work was in electrical power systems and related engineering fields. The provenance is particularly appropriate to this technical computing material.

The manuals show varying exterior shelf and handling wear, including rubbing, creasing and edge/corner wear. I’ve photographed the group together as well as representative interiors, copyright pages, markings and highlighting so the contents and condition can be evaluated directly.

All 10 manuals shown are included. This is a documentation/manual lot only. No software disks or other software media are included.
