QuickShot J-Link Turbo QS-5845 - Vintage PC Gameport Controller - NOS Sealed
I have a couple of these interesting 1990s PC gaming accessories available for sale. They've been sitting in storage for many years but are new, unopened and clean. The blister packs have a few minor dings and marks from storage, but overall present very well.
These are a neat little peripheral and not something you see very often. The J-Link Turbo isn't just a controller switch box -- it also includes a Turbo mode (what we'd call auto-fire today) with adjustable firing rates.
It supports two-player gaming, but I suspect its main purpose was to save users from constantly crawling behind their PC to unplug and reconnect different controllers. With the J-Link Turbo you can leave up to four controllers connected and simply select the one you want to use from the unit itself.
Features- Connect up to four controllers to a single PC gameport
- Compatible with joysticks, flight sticks, gamepads, steering wheels and yokes- Quick selection between connected controllers- Four independently adjustable turbo-fire controls- Separate Turbo ON/OFF function- Five-position controller selector- Two-player mode support- Active controller LED indicator- Full functionality maintained on Controller Port 1- Integrated 4-foot cable- Compatible with IBM PCs and compatibles
These remain factory sealed and have never been opened or used, so they are being sold as untested vintage hardware. Given their condition, I would expect them to work as intended, but I have no practical way to verify this without opening the packaging.
Ideal for a retro-PC enthusiast running DOS, Windows 3.x, Windows 95 or Windows 98 who wants to use multiple controllers without constantly replugging cables.
I love the idea of these, but unfortunately they won't work with my Amigas, so it's time for them to find a new home.
Happy to ship globally with Global Shipping.I've been using ZX81's since 1981, ZX Spectrums since 1982 and Amigas since 1987, I'm a bit of an enthusiast! I've used and collected many different computers and peripherals over the past 40 odd years. I'm thinning out my collection due to lack of space and lack of time to use them. I've also started to refurbish some classic machines so they continue to be used as the Retro Computer Gods intended! I'm happy to answer any questions during the sale. Good luck offerding!_gsrx_vers_1736 (GS 9.9.5 (1736))
