Why PET-CF?
PET-CF combines PET with carbon fiber reinforcement to provide advantages over more common 3D printing materials such as PLA and PETG.
Compared with PLA: PET-CF offers better heat resistance and increased rigidity, making it better suited for equipment installed in rack environments where temperatures can be higher.
Compared with PETG: PET-CF provides greater stiffness and dimensional stability while maintaining good durability. The carbon fiber reinforcement helps produce a more rigid part with less flex than standard PETG.
The result is a strong, rigid, heat resistant mounting solution that is well suited for long term equipment installations.
