This is a Synology Type R7 tray and is intended only for Synology systems designed to accept the Type R7 drive carrier. Synology uses several different tray designs that are not universally interchangeable.

Please confirm that your exact DiskStation or RackStation model requires the Type R7 tray before ordering. Compare the front release assembly, metal frame and mounting-hole pattern shown in the photographs with your existing tray.

Condition:

Used condition with scratches, scuffs, dust, marks and other cosmetic wear from previous installation, removal and storage. The release mechanism was checked through basic manual handling, but the trays were not individually installed in a NAS.
