Description:

The plate has four ports:
- a port for DDR 3 type DIMM.
- a port for DDR 4 type DIMM.
- a port for DDR 5 type RDIMM.
- a port for DDR 5 type UDIMM.
For its operation, the tester needs to be powered, you can do this either from a USB power supply (cord provided), or by inserting a CR2032 battery in the slot provided for this purpose. A switch allows you to select the type of power supply chosen.
Once a strip is inserted, you should not notice any anomaly, all the diodes should light up in the same way.
A flashing diode indicates a false contact,
An unlit diode indicates an open circuit,
A highlighted diode will indicate a short circuit.
No special skills are required, just look at the diodes!.

Note that this tester will not test possible errors in the RAM, but just the quality of its contacts.
