Triple Fan GPU Cooler Shroud - 12V 4-Pin
A complete three-fan cooling shroud assembly. The three DC brushless fans are pre-mounted in the frame and pre-wired together, exiting to a single 4-pin connector, so it runs from one fan header.
Three fans, not two
Most of the cooling kits sold for passively cooled accelerator cards are two-fan designs: a small end-cap housing, usually 3D printed, carrying a pair of roughly 40 mm fans that push air in from one end of the card. Some are sold as a bare shroud with no fans at all.This one is built differently:
- Three fans instead of two.
- Full-size GPU fans - genuine FD7010H12S units rated 0.35A each, rather than the small 40 mm-class fans used in end-cap housings.
- Full-length coverage. The fans sit in a plate that runs the length of the card and blows down across the whole heatsink fin stack, rather than forcing air in from one end.
- One 4-pin PWM lead. All three fans are pre-wired to a single 4-pin connector, so speed can be controlled from one header. No splitter needed, and nothing to wire up yourself.
- Assembled and ready. The fans arrive already mounted in the frame.
Fan sizes and counts are stated so you can compare directly. Cooling performance depends on your card, case airflow and fan speed, so we make no specific temperature or noise claims.

Fitment
This is the triple-fan cooler shroud assembly used on the ATI/AMD Radeon HD7990 graphics card. The same assembly is widely used as a DIY active-cooling retrofit for passively cooled server and workstation accelerator cards, including the NVIDIA Tesla Referral P40, M40, K80 and P100, which ship without fans of their own.
