Vintage UCI Corporation Expandable RAM Dynamic Memory Board designed for the Zenith Z-100 series computer.

This is a Rev. 2.2 IEEE-696 / S-100 bus memory board, marked © UCI 1984. It is currently populated with 512KB of 256K DRAM and, according to the original UCI documentation, is expandable to 2MB on a single board.

The original manual specifies eight 256K × 9-bit memory banks and capacities of 512KB, 1MB, 1.5MB or 2MB, depending upon the number of populated DRAM rows.

Features documented by UCI include 8/16-bit data bus operation, onboard parity generation/detection, parity error LED, internal refresh, bank switching, 24-bit extended addressing, and RAM-drive operation. UCI's RAMDRIVE system could utilize multiple boards for as much as 8MB total RAM-drive memory.

Included documentation is extensive and contains memory installation/configuration information, jumper settings, memory maps, troubleshooting information, RAMDRIVE setup, board diagrams and circuit schematics. Board appears clean with no obvious major damage noted. Untested due to lack of appropriate equipment and sold as-is. Please examine the photos carefully for exact condition, configuration and contents.

UCI RAMDRIVE software is referenced in the documentation but is not included.
