Ubiquiti Rocket M5 (5 GHz MIMO)

Used / Scuffed / Flat Olive Drab Finish • Flashed to OpenWrt

Condition & Cosmetic Summary

Up for sale is a field-used Ubiquiti Rocket M5 5GHz outdoor radio node.

Cosmetic Condition Notice: The exterior chassis has been field-painted in flat olive drab. The housing shows visible exterior handling wear, surface scuffs, dirt residue, and paint wear from outdoor use and field mounting. This is purely a functional piece of hardware—not a shelf queen.

Firmware Status (OpenWrt)

Factory AirOS has been replaced with OpenWrt.

• The device boots and the network interface comes up under OpenWrt.
• Buyer Technical Requirement: The radio will need network re-configuration (IP assignments, LuCI web UI setup, or SSH terminal access) to integrate into your specific network topology, wireless mesh network, or AREDN/standalone node architecture.
• Prior experience configuring OpenWrt via TFTP, Ethernet, or SSH is strongly recommended.
