This was used as a monitor for for DJI drone, and it's been kept in a padded case the whole time I've owned it. It has the capability of being connected 4G with a plan from a cell phone provider, but I only connected it using Wifi hot spot on my phone. The screen is clear and has no scrapes or scratches or any flaws.
