Selling a Tandy 1000 HX as a parts machine only. The Tandy 1000 HX was introduced in 1987 by Radio Shack (Tandy Corporation). It was sold in the late 1980s, with the model generally associated with 1987–1988. It was part of Tandy's compact home-computer line designed to run MS-DOS software and games.

This unit powers on but is not otherwise tested. I have no idea if it works because I don’t have the equipment to fully test it. I am selling it as a parts machine only. It’s possible this works but I can’t guarantee it. I took a video of my limited test where I power it on. If it doesn’t appear in this listing please message me and I will send it to you.

The computer has cosmetic issues. One corner has a chip/crack in it (see last photo). There are cosmetic issues such as discoloration, yellowing, staining, minor scratches, etc throughout the outer shell. It’s especially pronounced on the bottom. The bottom is missing the rubber bumpers in each corner.

I only have what is pictured. The only cable I have is the power cord which is included. I don’t have any software, accessories, original box, etc.
