This is an Asus P/I-P55TP4N Socket 7 motherboard, revision 1.0. It uses an Intel 430FX chipset and comes bundled with 16MB of RAM. It's been tested with a 200MHz Pentium CPU (not included) to boot into a Windows 95 environment, and is working.
However, this board will not come with an RTC module, so you must install one in order for it to boot. Typically, Asus Socket 7 boards came with an RTC module soldered directly, but I added a socket to this so you can easily install a fresh one without needing to do any soldering. Make certain the notches line up when you install one. The RTC module which was originally installed was a DS12887A, and the manual also states compatibility with DS12B887 and BQ3287A chips. If you do not have a spare RTC module handy, you may wish to try getting one of these: P55TP4N board comes with 256KB of pipeline burst cache, and this can be upgraded to 512KB. This revision of the board cannot take standard COAST modules, only some proprietary Asus cache modules.This motherboard will be packed in plenty of bubble wrap to prevent it from moving during shipping.
