Vintage Texas Instruments Extensa 515 Laptop - BOOTS TO WINDOWS 95, Pristine Shell
Functional Status: Tested and working! The laptop powers on and successfully loads the operating system.
Screen Condition: The screen is fully intact with no cracks. The vintage backlight is a bit dim but completely visible and readable (common for laptops of this era).
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent. The plastic casing is structurally sound with absolutely no cracks, major scratches, or brittle/broken hinges.
Includes a Fax modem card and Duracell NiCad battery pack
Battery & Power: The internal main battery is dead (as expected for its age) however it did start to take a charge when powered from my bench power supply.NO AC adapter is included. You will need a 19V power supply (OEM model PD-9510-19A or compatible bench power) to power the unit.
Motherboard: Clean ports and zero signs of any historic internal battery leaks or corrosion.
Because the physical shell is in such rare, clean condition and the motherboardsuccessfully boots, this is a prime piece for retro gaming, DOS/Windows 95software testing, or an easy restoration project.
